Tommy Songo ‘The Name Remembered’For Lone Star’s Defeat

The goalkeeper of the LISCR Football Club faces huge social media criticism after making another appearance between the goal poles as first choice goalkeeper of the senior national team of Liberia.
Tommy Songo has been taken to book by dozens of Facebook and other social media platform users for reportedly performing very poorly in both legs of the Lone Star versus Bafana Bafana game during the 2023 African Cup of Nations Qualifier.
Songo is being branded as the cause of the national team’s failure to qualify for the Nation’s Cup despite being described by Lone Star’s head coach Ansumana Keita as the first choice for the team.
According to reports gathered, the social media thinks Songo should be responsible because his performances contributed more dangerously for the Lone Star resulting into almost all the goals scored by the opponent.
Media institutions along with blogs and pages on the internet have reported that the last goal scored by Mabhuti Mayambela for the visitors at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex during the return leg of the AFCON qualifiers was a huge mistake from the goalkeeper.
