In a press statement issued yesterday, Mr. Towahsam who once contested against seated Representative Moses Acarous Gray said, his statement is triggered by numerous concerns raised and arguments among residents of Monrovia and its surroundings due to the mishandling of the country’s Liberia Electricity Corporation from the Month of November 2021, to date.
The statement noted that, the inappropriate form and manner of mismanagement of current by LEC to her many users or customers has crippled lots of business activities for the common and ordinary people who are striving on a daily basis to make ends meet within the harsh economic condition that has overwhelmed residents of his district.
The release stated further that, the abrupt off and on continued form of LEC has left many electrical appliances such as fans, refrigerators, televisions, and other non-electrical items such as chicken feet, spare ribs and other perishable goods damaged daily.
