Funtimes Magazine Commemorates Black History Month
…Engages Media On Liberia’s Bicentennial Celebration Tomorrow


The round table discussion is being organized by the FunTimes Magazine with West African countries inhabited by emancipated people particularly Liberia and it is in commemoration of Black History Month and Liberia’s Bicentennial celebration.
This zoom event will be hosted by Jennifer K. Smith at 12 P.M. with collaborating partners including, the Publisher of the Women Voices Newspaper, Helen Nah Sammy; the Acting Managing Editor of The Inquirer Newspaper, Winnie Saywah-Jimmy; the Editor of the Front Page Africa Newspaper, Lennart Dodoo; the Publisher of the New Dawn Newspaper, Othello Garblah and the Publisher of the Daily Observer Newspaper, Bai Best.
FunTimes Magazine is the predominant culture and lifestyle magazine for the African American, African and Caribbean communities in the Mid-Atlantic States and its objective is to educate, entertain and empower!
Black history month is a continuation of the yearlong celebration and acknowledgment of Black contributions, Black struggles, Black triumphs, and Black progress.
Meanwhile, according to the publisher of the magazine, Eric Nzeribe, Liberia has a strong relationship with the USA and it is good that Liberians begin to discuss this relationship as part of the activities of the bicentennial celebration. Written by Siatta Scott-Johnson.
