Mercy Corps Liberia, with funding from the French Development Agency, announces enrollment of the first cohort of Liberian owned businesses into the Business Accelerator Program.
Those enrolled are Edana Photography, Monrovia, Liberia, Samjac Agro Industry, Kakata, Liberia, Quidiyou Incorporated, Monrovia, Liberia, Green Gold Liberia, Brewerville, Liberia and Naz Natruals, Monrovia, Liberia. Mercy Corps Business Accelerator Program is dedicated to strengthen SMEs in Liberia.
This program is intended to support SMEs that have passed the “proof of concept stage” and are ready for growth and pairs businesses with a business development Firm and as well provides grant financing to support the growth plans of each cohort member.
The aboved named businesses have been admitted to cohort 1 and will each receive grant awards at the end of October 2021.
Mercy Corps is currently evaluating applications received for Cohort 2 of the accelerator program and will award grants to 5 businesses at the end of the evaluation.
A third call for application for cohort three is currently out and SMEs interested in applying to be admitted to this third and final cohort can download a copy of the application from the emansion website and follow the instructions to fill out the application template.
