The Commissioner General of the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) Thomas Doe Nah has cautioned beneficiaries of the John Maxwell Leadership Foundation at the LRA to be robust in executing their duties.
Speaking at the certificating ceremony on Friday at the LRA office, Commissioner Nah told participants of the week-long training that they are the trade blazers at LRA and expects them to exemplify leadership as they manage others.
The LRA boss applauded the John Maxwell Leadership Foundation for allowing his staffs to participate in the week-long training, nothing that from all indications it appears that it was a rewarding one week learning section.
“I’m very certain that all of you that participated will actualize what was learned; now you have grown and build your capacity but, you should understand that the training is not for you, it is about exhibiting what you have learned so that others can benefit in the sector,” Commissioner Nah Cautioned them.
Making remark on behalf of the participants, the Communication Manager at the LRA Varfee Holmes stated that the training was an impacting one and the knowledge gained will set as a milestone to growth and development.
“A lot of things were introduced to equip and help us be better servants, than we thought we were, adding that leaders are called to serve people with diligence, commitment and willingness, ” Holmes pointed out.
He then thanked the leadership of John Maxwell Foundation for affording them the initiative, nothing that the training will not just shifter them but will also help to contribute to the LRA services.
Sixty senior employees were trained and certificated to enhance quality skills and performance in the revenues sector, and the training emphasized on integrity, priorities, work ethics, intentional living, personal growth as well as capacity building.
