Cape Mount County To Be
Declared Covid Free Soon, If…

Statistics from Grand Cape Mount County indicate that all 65 covid-19 patients have fully recovered from the disease at the treatment unit in the county.
Since the last three patients were discharged, Grand Cape Mount County continues to boast of 100 percent recovery constituting one of the best recovery stories in the country.
Grand Cape Mount health authorities reportedly discharged the last three covid-19 patients from the treatment unit in the county following their full recoveries and it means that there is now no covid-19 patient at the treatment unit in the county.
According to the head of the county health team, Cecelia Woods-Cheneyon, the three patients were recently discharged after going through observation and treatment at the facility.
She said with the release of the three patients, this has closed the covid-19 management case since the outbreak of the disease in the county as many of the cases discovered were in the Bea Mountain Mining Corporation facility and majority of the patients were foreign expatriates.
According to the report, Cheneyon revealed that those who contracted the virus were mostly having preexisting ailments; something which, she said, accounts for the huge recovery process.
She expressed optimism that with no patient currently at the treatment facility and no reported case over the past weeks, they are hoping that health authorities can soon start the countdown to a covid-19 free Cape Mount County.
Report said statistics gathered from the county health team showed that since the outbreak of the disease in 2020, about 65 persons have been confirmed positive of the virus in the county.
